
Two of these tools broke the first time I used them. When checking the tool, the failure occurred at exactly the same point under the same load (normal operation). Further inspection (measuring tool clearance relative to the maximum deflection required for correct tool operation) indicates a material defect or incorrect dimensions. I'm an engineer and this conclusion is based on limited understanding. I would advise not to purchase or use this product until it is resolved. The proposed "solution" is to increase the elastic point (Young's modulus) by using a lower temperature and slower cooling during the cracking process to allow for better crosslinking. (This is just an instructive guess, I'll be happy to remove this review when the issue is resolved, but I hope it helps others avoid my misfortune).
