I use this dock for Windows 10 to archive videos, music and data files to offline removable drives. While the first model I ordered had a faulty switch and had to be replaced, for the past three months the replacement has worked as expected. Choose this model for the two separate power/status buttons, which are not available on most docking stations. Depending on the archiving needs (and USB 3 capacity), it may make sense not to activate both drive bays at the same time. I chose StarTech because I have had a 4 disc model for several years, have had good experiences and trust the brand. more than many other manufacturers. I chose a USB 3 interface to replace a previous eSATA model as it is becoming increasingly difficult to get driver support for my computer's eSATA interfaces. The USB 3 interface currently works better for handling multiple drives that need to be randomly ejected from the dock than most current eSATA options.
