I've bought this type of frame from other sellers before. I don't recall it being that difficult to remove the protective coating from each side of the acrylic in those cases. This paper just tears and doesn't peel off like it should. Oh, and a word to the wise: don't take their advice and don't use a sharp object like a planer knife to make a cut in the cover so you can reach and pull it off. Just use your fingernail to scrape it off the edge. Otherwise you risk cutting the acrylic (and although I used very light pressure to make the cuts, I etched the acrylic several times). Oh, and one of those already had scratches on the acyl too, and they forgot to pick up the hardware in one set. I wouldn't buy them again.
