This ticks all the boxes I have for a surge protector. I needed the outlets to be spaced far enough apart so that all the fancy plugs I needed to attach could fit. I needed black to match my multimedia shelf. I needed a short cable because I didn't have room to skewer thick unnecessary cables. And I wanted it to be as squat as possible to fit on the tiny shelf I could put it on. It's still a lot of compression with the cable sticking straight out, but that's okay. As a bonus, it also has USB ports; something I wasn't looking for but have since found very helpful. Someone else might need a longer cable, but I thought this was just perfect. I'm so thankful I found a surge protector that fits all of my crazy right angle plugs.
