After 20 minutes of yelling, swearing and assembling the belts as they LOOK in the pictures, I watched the video and finally got it right. There are no assembly instructions anywhere on the packaging. The natural tendency is to thread them to the end, but this makes them work in reverse. You have to squeeze the lever to tighten them, but just pull the hook to loosen them. They're a little tricky to assemble even if you know how. I had to take a small screwdriver (a small nail would work too) and poke holes to hold the spring clip open while I threaded the strap. Once I did that, it was easy. BRING THE INSTRUCTIONS IN OR ON THE PACKAGING!
