This item arrived quickly and is exactly as described. I've read other reviews where buyers either broke the red clip on the tool or couldn't easily open the compartment to insert batteries. Here are some tips. Be careful - just press the red clips at the bottom a little and slide them up. Once you see the clip move, gently unfold the top. There is no marking for the direction of the batteries, but one battery is inserted positive side up near the edge and 2 batteries positive side down. in the middle or negative side up. Once the batteries are in, you can put the red clip back in the same way you opened it - very carefully. It closes when you gently press the top. Just make sure the LED isn't glowing in your eyes. As I said, works well and I am very happy with my purchase. Thank you!
