Review on Gardner Bender GMT-318 Analog Multimeter: A Versatile 6-in-1 Tool for Precise Electrical Measurement, AC/DC Volts up to 500V by Josh Schaefer

I was looking for an analog gauge with a 1X range setting to check the resistance tolerances of sport fencing equipment - plates, mask breastplates, saber masks, glove cuffs and cords. Everything is fine with this product but I sent it back because although the picture looks like you can reset the ohms at the base of the gauge needle, in fact it isn't: there is a red wheel on the side. The gauge is smaller than it appears in the pictures. In general, I felt that the meter wasn't as reliable as I would have liked for this use, and I opted for the larger, more reliable Tek product, which featured a solid ohm-zero dial that built into the front of the meter body.
