I installed this on a bone stock 06 Yukon Denali 6.0. I wasn't expecting too much of a performance difference, I just wanted free intake flow. From 2000 rpm the truck becomes quieter. The intake noise at idle is the same, but under load from 2000 rpm the intake is clearly audible. The intake sound is a low pitched sound, enough to draw your attention but never annoying. I imagine this intake would benefit from free exhaust flow, but for now I won't bother as I have a stock engine and prefer a quiet cabin when driving on the road.
