Review on ๐Ÿšด Brightside - Rechargeable Amber Side Lights for Cyclists with 36hr Battery Life - Lightweight 2.3oz Bike Light by Nathan Guzman

For the price I expected something better

I wouldn't write such a long review if it was a cheap flashlight. The fix for cheap stuff is to buy 3 just in case and don't complain. But for $30 my expectations were higher. The battery did not work as stated. I have this light (flashing in the dark is annoying and distracting) on for 10 minutes in the morning to get to the train. Died while traveling without any apparent warning. Had to charge after two weeks; That's less than 2 hours of work. The device is very light, so there seems to be room for more battery capacity. I was shocked to see that the description says 36 hours; If that were the case, I'd still be driving the original charger. The sunscreen is not big enough and not positioned correctly. The bike light is ideally visible from as many angles as possible, but is blocked from the rider's view at night. If the shield's frame was twisted, the driver could adjust it so that the light was not visible. Anyway, I had to mount the light in the head tube instead of the outside, which led to my next problem. โ€” The lantern is not secure. During normal on-road driving and maneuvering, the rider's knee may approach or touch the inside of the front frame. Once when I was doing this, as I was exiting a traffic light, the ad flew out and was crushed by a car behind me. Although he had flaws up to that point, I was sad to see him go. If it was $10 I'd just buy another one, but for now I'll look elsewhere. As important as lights are to a cyclist, why not make them safer, a crescent moon holder is no good. I don't think you'll hear any cyclist complain about how difficult it is to remove a headlight from a bike. Positive: The light is bright enough The light never deviates from the bumps in the road Great concept, one light fulfills two
