I had the same running board on my 2011 Tundra. I thought he felt a lot stronger when he was stepped on. This step has some advantages. The attitude towards it is also ridiculous. Dismantling your car seems superfluous. I can't understand why they couldn't combine the pitch with the pickup frame like they did in the old style. My husband and I installed this. Hope the perseverance lasts. I don't know why it flexes when you step on it, although I do know that the bumper bracket I took out of my truck to install the supplied bracket is much stronger than the replacement bracket.
