Review on Honeywell Overtravel Plunger Microswitch BE 2RQ1 A4 by Bud Crabtree

Bought to replace the switch on the SIM two-post lift, especially the driving safety switch. I tried screwing it in and snapping it in, the casting cracked. I actually got two and both times the plastic case just exploded when the screw was tightened. If the part really needs to be bolted to something, I don't recommend this cheap version. I now have the factory version but the lift has been out of service for over 2 weeks waiting for an actual switch to fit.
