I've been thinking about building a trellis system for our large property in Troncones, Mexico [Casa Maya] for a while, but I was concerned about how it might or might not be Working with thick walls and long distances. I've used various WiFi extenders with pretty good coverage, but the 4 different zones made it difficult to move from room to room etc and maintain coverage. This mesh Wi-Fi system from Google is amazing. I bought 2 3-packs and installed 4 of them [the first will become the router for the system, pictured on the optional mounting jig and attached to my modem/router] and placed the other 3 in the places where I previously had extension cords. . Setup is very easy and I immediately have full ownership and uninterrupted Wi-Fi network coverage in every room - it's all one big mesh area. Some points are outside but covered. I hope the salty air doesn't destroy them too quickly. This is a great system!
