Who says kickstands aren't made for mountain bikes?
For years I've leaned my bike against a wall or parked it on a stand I made myself. I saw this stand for sale and decided to give it a try. I like two things about it: 1. It works. It holds the bike without leaning it against anything. 2. Folds up while driving. Doesn't interfere with pedaling. I use it on a 27.5" bike with great results. Easy installation and configuration.
