Worked well as a replacement for the screw cover vinyl trim

My trailer's storage compartment vinyl trim has become quite odd and discolored. No amount of detergent or cleaner is going to get rid of those black spots, so a replacement was a must. I wasn't sure how wide the original fairing was and didn't want to take it off until I had a replacement. Worried it would rain I assumed it was 3/4" and the right size. In the attached photos you can see the before and after as well as a detail picture of one of the corners. .Angles are hard to get right I replaced the paneling around both passage doors so there are 8 corners in total I think 2 of them look great and the other 6 look like the photo I came back later with a heat gun set at about 200F heated to soften it up a bit while pressing down with a spatula to see if it took on a more 'square' shape I think it helped a little but they still look a little wavy Well I think they will still hold up great - the 'wings' seem to be making good contact with the trim channel so I don't think it will come out and probably still handle the water just fine. It can also start after a few heat/cold cycles in the sun and at night to look better. If anything changes in this regard, I will update. I would just like to know what I did right on the 2 corners which looks amazing. I used my spatula as I went around trying to knead it in place and my thumb did the same but for some reason it worked better on those. However, it looks great compared to the old stuff and of course now I understand that I need to clean the rest of the doors better as the trim is no longer the dirtiest part. I bought a 50ft roll and for my two doors I probably used less than half that, so I'm glad I can do more in the future if needed.
