Review on GM Genuine Parts 8677743: Superior Automatic Transmission Fluid Pan Gasket by Michael Tucker

I have a 1996 Class A motorhome with a 454 Chevy engine. I had the mechanic remove the transmission pan, change the oil and clean it. I bought a generic cheap gasket to replace a really good gasket that had been on the van for a long time. Before replacing the seal there was no leak. After changing to a commercially cheap gasket, the pan leaks like a sieve. I bought this gasket because it looked like the original gasket. After replacing this gasket I had no problems with leaks.
