Its cons: terribly noisy! and im not talking about background noise, its around 30 db, im talking about head parking during recording, they sometimes just drive the devil out of the disk. i have a chic case with noise isolation be quiet darkbase pro 900 - even in it the disks are audibly noisy. sleeping in a room with a computer with such disks is not an option. my computer is not in the bedroom, so its not critical, but it should be taken into account when buying. i compare the noise with wd100efax: seagate is significantly noisy, including due to 7200rpm (wd100efax has 5400rpm). i also compared it with wd100efbx, which is 7200 rpm - seagate is still noisier. in short, server disks and you need to shove them into the desktop with an understanding of what you are going for)) in my case, the norms - noise is a retribution for volume.
