It's high time to get those old tires replaced. After much consideration and consideration of other people's opinions, I settled on purchasing Michelin X-Ice North 4 185/65 R15 T 92 tires. The decision to go with Michelin was an easy one to make given that there were already tires on the market from a competing brand. In general, I am happy with how everything turned out. The old wheels have quite a few spikes missing after only three years, but the prior owner gave them to me together with the car. It is unknown how often the former owner skated on them. In February of 2022, I purchased new tires. I was able to drive almost entirely on asphalt because spring came early and the snow melted swiftly. As a consequence of this, they perform admirably on ice, given that you are still able to forecast your ride. After two months of driving on asphalt, all of the spikes are still in their original positions and look brand new. In terms of the level of noise, it is not particularly noisy; but, these are spikes, and it seems as though the summer one is now buzzing much more. Despite the fact that I probably haven't gotten used to it yet. I am satisfied with my decision!
