Diaglink just received and using it for the first time is terrible, no mention of the need to update the device or download any software in the quick start guide or manual. I connected the OBD scanner to the car as per the manual and manual, but when I try to scan the popup I need to load my car make. The software you need to do this is on their website and it says you can select a free download, but the downloads are basically oil resets for different makes of car, not a simple make of car download that you use to scan your device with the device need vehicle. You can't even scan a car for an oil fault if you don't have a brand specific download, so downloading oil doesn't make sense. and felt used. I wanted to use it to diagnose my Ford but have to pay an additional $10 to get the necessary software. I think or return this due to false advertising which product says "You can get one vehicle building software of your choice for free for the first time and buy another vehicle software by paying $10 for each vehicle." ONE FREE.
