Thor's hammer has nothing to do with this meat tenderizer. Proportional and balanced 304 stainless steel is dishwasher safe. It's firm so there's nowhere for excess food or juice to hide. Works great on both smooth and diamond shaped sides. Many uses from meat to ice cubes to snipping off the ends of flowers (break open gently to facilitate water absorption). 100% great product.
