I work from home and they're great for skype meetings. Don't be the guy who speaks into the laptop's crappy built-in microphone and speakers give feedback during your conference calls. The quality of the microphone is excellent for the price. Earpads wear out over time (over 2 years of daily use), but almost any leatherette earbud wears out. They're a bit tight on my big-brained head, so I use a separate set of quality reference headphones for long periods of time just listening to music, podcasts, and more. But I'm picky; They work even when I'm lazy. The independent mute button is also very convenient. Much easier than using a mouse or keyboard to mute the meeting if you need to cough, yodel or whatever. It also doesn't indicate to any conference program that you're muted, if that's to your advantage. Pros: *Price *Microphone quality *Independent mute *Volume buttons Cons: *Fits a bit snug *Can compress your ears a bit as it doesn't sit fully over the ear for some
