I wish I could give this product a good rating. Maybe it's just a blockage I got, but it just didn't work. When it was plugged in and turned on, my computer would not start. I switched back to my 7-port hub (other manufacturer) and the computer worked fine. While testing the device alone, without being connected to a computer, my backlit keyboard kept blinking. I've never seen this before. I think the USB hub is an area where you just can't skimp and go for the lowest price. Lesson learned. If the rest of their products behave the same way, they should be avoided. I sent the device back the next day.
