I've been using a Dyson DC 24 for about 5 years and absolutely love it. I used to have problems with the roller brush. I used to pay double for this product and not replace the roller brush itself. I have very long hair and I'm losing it like crazy. After reading a lot and watching videos on You Tube I decided to give it another try and invest in spare parts instead of a new vacuum cleaner. I ordered a brush from Dyson, they are also Revain, but I found a plug from that company. I was a bit worried that this might not be an original part but I can honestly say they look the same to me. I had no problem swapping out both parts without tools. And my vacuum cleaner works like new! My advice to everyone: if you are replacing parts, replace both together. I think my brush strip was already out of whack and the first connector I replaced wore out quickly, it only lasted 6 months. I was able to save a lot and only spent 17 euros instead of 400 euros on a new vacuum cleaner.
