Good bang for your buck!

This Eversecu system with 4 cameras and DVR has been running for just over a week (11/30/2020). Installing the hard drive was easy and was immediately recognized by the system. I wired everything inside first to make sure everything was working. I was able to view the cameras through the NVR web interface but for some reason it stopped working and only showed still images. They also didn't get stuck when trying to configure settings via the web interface. Some PC software is available but it is for viewing and playing the camera, not configuring everything - setup is best done directly on the NVR box with the monitor and mouse attached. 3 cameras are now installed outside and each one can be configured differently. the settings. I have the front camera in constant color mode as there is a street lamp across the street that lights things up at night and the other 2 are in smart mode (they switch to night vision mode automatically). You can set up motion detection, sensitivity, and motion zones, and receive notifications through the app or email. Notifications come very quickly on the Android app (IP Pro) and browsing works very well too. For in-app playback, you can zoom in on the red lines created on the blue timeline, scroll to the start of the alert (red area), and press play to see what happened. You can view anywhere in the recorded timeline for any camera. The motion detection works very well for me. At first I was concerned that passing cars would cause too many alerts, but I don't have this issue (the viewing angle isn't as wide as my previous USB camera and it faces away from the road). I have a humanoid motion detection kit that creates a red frame around passing humanoids. It captures people walking on the sidewalk in front of my house and in the alley about 75 feet from my "side-back" camera. The picture quality is very good. Overall I am very impressed with this system and how it works. I would recommend this entry system - it gave me an idea that I can record everyone in my area and I hope this will be a deterrent to intruders. Support Note - I had a few questions that I emailed late at night. I waited for an answer the next morning.
