We go camping for our son's birthday every March and it's usually too warm for a big winter coat. Rainy and better for a raincoat, but one that can be warm enough for colder rain. It's tough and annoying to be honest. BUT it is a coat! My son is so excited for his birthday and this coat only adds to the excitement. Oh, being five again, the smallest things make you so happy. He likes the color and shape of this coat which is not thin. I worry about pushing it in every wind, but this one won't. Like a ski coat, it's perfect for a birthday party in the fresh air and in the wet. TLDR: Coat A+.
