Very inaccurate in the ship's electronics

I like the idea of this mobile fish finder very much. This is a fantastic idea for shore fishing and kayaking/canoeing. I chose the Ibobber brand for its simplicity and price. I tried this item as soon as I received it and decided to return it for a number of reasons. One of the reasons for concern was how this thing connects to your line. There is a tiny metal sleeve with a hole the size of a large fishhook eye surrounded by a very small amount of plastic that attaches to the device. I was very concerned that the cheap and ill-conceived mounting method would break, resulting in the loss of the device. It has a kickstand that you must use if you want to charge your device. If it gets lost or stops working, you'll be left without your product. Not sure why they don't use the more popular swap port. I also had concerns about the battery. When I received it, I charged it for a while before using it. When the battery was at 93% I decided to give it a try. It took me about 7 minutes to drive to our local pond and when I got there the battery was at 34%. After reading the reviews of others, I see that other people have had the same problem with the rapid battery drain. It is possible that the device is simply not reporting the battery level correctly. Probably the last reason I decided to rate and return this so poorly was the lack of precision. When I put him in the water for the first time he said there were fish everywhere. So much so that I immediately thought it was a defective unit. I tried several other points and got the same thing. A smaller fish symbol for fish under 15 inches and a larger fish symbol for fish over 15 inches. I'm sure that's not true either. I would say at least 50% of the fish on my screen were larger than 15" across multiple casts. I know for sure that there are very few fish larger than 15 inches in this particular pond, so that was an issue as well. . I ended up taking it to another small body of water that branches off the river to check it out. There are bigger fish in the area, but usually not many. This thing was still fishing like crazy just a few yards from shore. I don't find the depth accuracy to be the highest, which is also reported in other reviews. When I received it 3 feet from shore it said the water was 6 feet deep when in reality it was only 1-2 feet deep. After about 30 minutes of use my battery must have gotten pretty low on the ibobber as it started having connectivity issues. However, it has a few nice features. Simplicity and ease of use delighted. It also has a strike warning which I'm not entirely sure how or if works, but it would be great if it worked. Finally, it has an LED light that you can turn on and off at night if you want to see it. I really wanted to like it and used it, but I think it needs serious improvement. I would not recommend this product to anyone due to the cheap build and lack of precision.
