Review on Bernat Baby Blanket Yarn Machine by Tara Ford

The easiest yarn to work with

, This is by far the best yarn I have ever worked with! It's so thick and soft. I first used it a year ago when I was pregnant with my son and it's been the only yarn I've worked with ever since. Other baby yarns shed A LOT, which is terrible if your little one likes to chew on the fabric. It's perfect because it won't fall off, stretch, tear or unravel. I just made another baby blanket for my pregnant sister using Lilac Dove. I used baby lilac for the border, and the lilac is a little different from the lilac dove, but that doesn't make it weird at all. I usually use an 8mm crochet hook and knit single crochet or double crochet (depending on the breathability I want). Basic crochet makes it very heavy and warm, while double crochet is what I use when I want to make a blanket for my son's crib. The chopstick ensures that he can still breathe easily even when the blanket covers his face. And because he's so fat, there's no way you can squeeze him hard enough to wrap him around his neck and choke him, so I feel safe having him with me in my crib. For baby blankets I use three large strands and this makes a blanket about 47" x 47" with single crochets. I made a 19" x 22" double crochet crib throw with less than a large ball and a car seat cover with a large ball. This yarn goes a long way.

2/3 balls were perfect, but...
