I really like this tool. It excels in the initial stages of freely screwing nipples onto the spokes around the rim. It does not replace a spoke wrench. It has a small spring that goes into the nipple and pushes against the inside wall of the nipple to hold it securely on the end of the tool to keep the nipple from falling off. You put the nipple in the rim, make a few turns with the tool and the nipple sits securely on the threaded end of the spoke. This tool is a lot better than putting a drop of lube on the end of a crank handle nipple tool. .
