Review on Efficient Drawer Front Installation Clamps from POWERTEC 71181: Optimal Cabinet Hardware Jig and Drawer Jig for Quick and Effortless Drawer Front Panel Installation by Vivian Eker

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Don't leave them tied up overnight!

At first I really liked this series of clips. Cheaper than the Rockler and looked pretty much the same. The metal flexes a bit when clamped, but overall they work as expected. Installing 10 drawer fronts has become a lot easier than trying to put multiple clips together. Why 3 stars instead of 4 or 5? Well it was getting late so I left one of the front walls overnight to complete the installation in the morning. I'm using professionally finished drawer fronts (4 coats of machine paint) and the rubber (oil?) from the pad is leaching onto one of my white drawer fronts. It's in color; I tried several ways to remove it and nothing worked. I'll probably have to order another $100 drawer front because the blue/grey circles built into my drawer front are just not acceptable! So as long as you use them quickly and don't leave them jammed, they work fine. But DO NOT leave it tied up for long periods of time!
