These are a decently absorbent pad for covering a weeping wound, and absorb fairly well, holding a reasonable amount of exudate before leaking. They are not non-stick, and require a little care and saline solution to free them from the tender wound, nor do they contain silver or any other bacteria-inhibiting compound, but they are sterile, reasonably priced, and probably best used for daily bandage changes. As stated, they have no built in adhesive border and so must be covered with some other type of bandage or gauze wrap to hold them in place.A good option if a basic, non-adhesive, highly absorbent 4" bandage pad fills your needs.
