Country of origin misleading
The knives are made in Solingen but the scissors are made in China. Also note that these knives are definitely not forged knives (as precisely noted in another review) - they are much thinner and very light compared to the original Wusthof forged knife set. That being said, they seem to be great paring knives and worth the money - but only because I bought the $25 set on Black Friday. Don't waste $80 on this set - better buy original forged steel paring knives separately.
