These lights are great I don't know how bad they are for bugs. There are definitely a lot of dead bugs underneath though. I have them outside in a lamp that is open from below. These bulbs cannot get wet for obvious reasons. However, they work well as long as they are protected from moisture. Update: They have been used and the main lights went out on them. The company sent a new set. But now one of them has stopped working. This 1 of 4 still works. Let's see how long the update lasts: The last one didn't work anymore either. None of the pears lasted more than a few months.
