Review on LG 43UN700-B: 4K Display with Type C Inputs, Tilt Adjustment, HDR, Built-In Speakers by Chris Morales

Great big monitor in my review.

This is a great big screen monitor, a huge increase in real estate over my 32 inch monitors. I use it 90% of the time to review engineering/construction drawings and it's amazing. Too bad I wouldn't have switched to it for a long time. Now I have a 32" and a 43" on my workstation, it's perfect. 32 is great for the web, MS Word, etc., 43 is great for large CAD files, PDFs, engineering drawings, diagrams, etc. At 32, I would have to scroll a lot and now realize how much time I wasted on building, designing or whatever with big papers or blueprints, you won't regret it. Brightness, highlights, color, everything is very acceptable. I don't care about the sound, I use speakers, I wall mount it, but the stand looked very solid when needed.

Pros
  • Anti-glare screen
Cons
  • Screen burn-in: This occurs when a static image is displayed on the monitor for too long and continually burns into the screen.
