Received, opened, used - now have two axes that are well sharpened. I agree that it takes a bit of getting used to aligning and holding it that way during the move, but I figured it out so I think others can too. Ax blade, you just have to maintain that angle while dragging it across the blade. However, remember that you must align it tangent to the edge of the blade. This means it should rotate easily along the arc of the blade. Once you start using it you will see how it works. I used to sharpen axes with a file, and that too had to be held at the right angle over the curved edge. This device works and is not particularly difficult to use and works on both sides of the edge at the same time.
