I bought this blind to replace an old bamboo blind. This is a great update for my bedroom! Because the blinds come in multiple sizes, I was able to order the exact size I needed for my window (most pre-made blinds are too big to fit my casement windows). These blinds filter the light, provide privacy and let in natural light so I don't feel the need to pull the blinds up to let the light in. The installation instructions were clear - I would suggest carefully unpacking everything as you may be missing a small package of installation hardware. So far I haven't had any problems with the mechanism that raises and lowers the blinds. It has a very soft action. I recommend this product and plan to make another purchase.
