The ground is frozen now and the snow is deep, but when weather permits, I plan on drilling a dozen or more small holes in a gravel parking lot to install small posts and small, thin, flexible, reflective boundary markers.I have cordless drills, but that job requires more torque so I will use my Craftsman corded 1/2" drill. It has a lot of torque and I can adjust the RPM's so that it spins pretty slowly and doesn't rip out of my hands. I plan to practice a bit first in the land behind my house.I don't need to go so deep and this isn't like I was trying to put up fence posts, although it may help with that as well. I expect it will still be challenging, but doable and I look forward to getting it done ASAP.The auger bit seems well-made and should last for years.
