Review on Dogtra 200C Remote Training Collar by Jeanette Khammanivong

Absolute sticking point!

We have a 6 month old German Hound and of course she has LOTS of energy and a wild hunting instinct. We live on 4 acres and wanted her to be free to roam but still listen to our commands as we live next to a busy highway. We tried a cheaper collar and it was ridiculous. At maximum power, she acts like she's being bothered by a pesky fly for about 1 second, and then she leaves. After a few recommendations for this collar we spent the money and I can't put into words how groundbreaking it is. Today was the first day we used it and I'm not kidding, it changed our lives. She used to be quite wild like most puppies and although she is very smart and knows what we tell her, she is stubborn and wouldn't listen if she didn't want to. Your safety was our primary concern, but this collar had so many other benefits. We had to use it once, at a constant setting of 100 (nothing else caught their attention), but I've hardly had to use the pager button since. She listens when her name is called, and multiple distros play simultaneously, even anticipating my commands before I give them. I'm not the type to hurt any living thing, but a one-time shock (that didn't hurt her) literally saved a life and I firmly believe this is one of the best purchases of my life. . Peace of mind is hard to put with a price tag. Well done Dogtra.
