Works Great: E-Training Collars

This is a great product. We have a tough dog and with that he is now easy to control. Lai is also almost completely controlled. After a short time we only need to use the vibration function. just be careful It's strong, so keep an eye on the level of stimulation. Also, make sure you charge it every night so you don't have any charging issues.

Pros
  • Best in Their Niche
Cons
  • Useless Features

Great training tool for my runner!

This worked great for our dog who missed every opportunity. We only had to shock her twice and now we don't even have to take a leash with us when we run or walk her. I wish the battery would have lasted longer as we have to charge it daily and the remote is a bit bulky but we don't even carry it with us these days. It is enough that she puts on a collar. Great training tool.

This product and price is great for two dogs.

The price for the two dog system is good and my dogs respond well to the vibration feature when they are too far away to hear my call. They come back when I call them even without using "IF" functions, they wear collars. I replaced the cheap plastic collars with nicer ones that I pre-assembled and snapped on. I recommend collars. I would give it 5 stars but I don't like plastic collars but you can buy nicer ones to attach them to.

  • Consistent test results

Sends a burst to nothing.

Received, fully charged and started using. There was an amazing difference in our dog. Later that day I went to extra training and I pushed the button and said my command and my dog wasn't listening at all. I pressed 10-15 times and said the command at the same time and then all of a sudden my dog squeaked and jumped like he just got shocked. I immediately took it off, took it in my hand and pressed the button. I didn't feel anything for maybe 15-20 jolts, and then all of a sudden I felt a…

Best results I've seen in one day

It worked amazingly, we were at a loss because our dog was barking and not listening (when he said no he thought it was a game and was getting wilder and get hyper ) well once with that collar and we only had to use the 'nick' function once or twice and saw a huge difference, he's not even wearing a collar now we just show him the remote when he is naughty and immediately understands what then he stops, he never barks again it's like a brand new dog! Highly recommend this collar if you have the

Good, but not great: dogs

Good, but not great. I have used another brand in the past and decided to try the Dogtra 200C. My dog can be very stubborn, but also very sensitive to stimuli. The vibration on this device is too strong and cannot be adjusted. The good thing is that I have never had to use any type of electrostimulation and the vibration immediately stops his bad behavior. I wish it had a beep function so I can beep it now that it has learned to respond to vibrations. I probably wouldn't buy it again, but it…

Great trainer BUT. edited

THIS IS EDITING. After the first collar stopped working after only 2 months, the company sent me a replacement. THIS collar broke after almost 3 months. For almost 200€ I would have expected a much longer service life. My Frenchie won't swim, hunt, jump or do anything else that I can explain as the discharge feature has stopped working. The pager was still working, but the shocks on both collars had stopped. Disappointing because when it works, it's a good tool. First review: I hesitated to use

THAT DOES NOT WORK? NOT CORRECT? WATCH THE VIDEO AND READ THIS FIRST

So I saw other reviews talking about the inconsistency and I had the same problem. I tried the device on my wrist as recommended by Dogtra with conflicting results. Sometimes it worked, sometimes not. I called Dogtra and the rep I spoke to said to check it out. To test it, attach a tester to 2 metal contact points (the tester is the small transparent plastic piece that comes with the device). When I plugged in the tester, I saw that I was getting inconsistent signals even though I pressed the…

Absolute sticking point!

We have a 6 month old German Hound and of course she has LOTS of energy and a wild hunting instinct. We live on 4 acres and wanted her to be free to roam but still listen to our commands as we live next to a busy highway. We tried a cheaper collar and it was ridiculous. At maximum power, she acts like she's being bothered by a pesky fly for about 1 second, and then she leaves. After a few recommendations for this collar we spent the money and I can't put into words how groundbreaking it is…
