An excellent tool for creating steps and risers!
Great value. Easy and obvious to use. Hit with a tape measure to get an accurate measurement of the width of each tread and each riser. Each tread and riser has slight variations (ie no squares and imperfections) - this tool captures the nuances of each tread and riser. Just make sure you select the left or right side of the board for your stage and riser as your "baseline start point" and make sure the baseline start point is square/flat. then make your cut.
