I have been using a handheld vacuum for many years. It works perfectly and still works great. The only problem I have is when I put water back into the tank. I use a 5 gallon bucket and if I water too fast it will ruin the decorations and/or plants in the tank. Then I found this automatic vacuum cleaner that can also add water from the floor, great idea! As you can see in my video, it works fantastic! No more lifting weights and damaging decorations/plants. But when it comes to cleaning, I deduct 2 stars. First, some parts are made out of cheap plastic, like the manure suction cup. The part was simply given away without much effort. Some parts have that white heavy plastic cover for protection, but some parts, the manure suction cup and others, don't have a plastic cover for protection and are made of flimsy plastic. , Parts fall off in the tank. As in the last picture, the part simply fell apart while cleaning in the water tank. Causing more chaos than cleaning up. ** So I will continue to use a handheld vacuum to clean and use an automatic vacuum just to add water. And now I know you can get an automatic water pump for adding water cheaper than this one.
