Works well with SmartThings and Hue

This setting allows you to use SmartThings to turn the Hue kitchen lights on and off based on traffic and light levels in the room. Works perfectly. The device's ambient light sensor is useful because you only turn on the lights in a room when it's actually dark. SmartThings allows you to enable this setting when programming a lights-on action. SmartThings also lets you program the lights in a room to turn off if no motion is detected for a specified period of time. This motion sensor is accurate enough to deal with. It has a prominent green light on the top right of the front that flashes when motion is detected. It is eye-catching and brighter than usual. According to the documentation and some forums, you can access the settings options to turn off the green light and tweak some other settings. I didn't dive that deep. These options are not available in SmartThings and require more advanced knowledge. Of course, you can use this motion sensor as a trigger for all sorts of things. I only use it for my Hue lights. I don't use a temperature sensor, but it works. Overall I am happy with this sensor. It reliably detects movement and the ambient light sensor makes it perfect for my application. I have no false alarms. Besides, he's small. The only negative is the green light when driving. It's a little light. Doesn't matter.
