Review on TAVOLOZZA 300 GSM 7" Diameter 24 Sheet Watercolor Paper Pad - Glue Bound, Cold Pressed, Acid-Free With 1 Letter Opener For Wet & Dry Media by Brian Thuo

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not good for watercolors, pen & ink is fine.

The book is well made and at a good price point. The pages are evenly stitched together, the covers lovely red fabric, it has a clear plastic envelope on the inside of the back cover. It has a ribbon to mark your page and nice elastic to hold it closed. The paper feels nice, but this is pulp paper. They state it has some cotton, but it sure doesn't feel like it. You can do a quick wash and some details but that's about it. Expect the paper to buckle badly. It will flatten out somewhat once you close the book after a day or more. This works better as a sketch book or using pen and ink, or markers. I wouldn't use this for watercolors which it's advertised for and the reason I purchased it after reading some of the other reviews. I was disappointed since that's why i wanted it. But for the price point and the quality of the book overall, it great for those mediums that don't use water. That's why the three stars. If it wasn't marketed for watercolor use i would give it five stars. Hope this helps.
