I understand they are the "right size". I bought these on purpose because I like large holes that are relatively close together and leave a high percentage of openings in the pan. They work fine. The big downside for me is the sharp metal burr that is at the bottom of each hole. The punch that made the hole left a noticeable burr. The tool had to be secured or deburred afterwards. Instead, only a non-stick coating was applied, which slightly lifts the edge of the burr. This doesn't affect the use of the pan, but I'm very concerned that it might scratch the objects it's placed on, such as coffee mugs. B. my very expensive Bosh glass induction cooker. I'm not really happy with this, but deburring them would remove the non-stick coating. I like the design, but if I needed more, I would look for another supplier with more attention to detail.
