Review on Stanley 84-024: Premium 10-Inch Bi-Material Groove Joint Pliers - Versatile and Durable by Tyler Blake

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Possibly a bad batch of instruments between 2013 and 2014 - still worth the risk; Simply exchange the tool or return it if defective

Before purchasing these Stanley Groove Joint Pliers I was a bit concerned about the negative reviews almost all of which said the tool broke on first use. But I ordered it anyway, and it turned out to be a very high quality tool, both in "fit" and function. This is one of the tools I used when I was fixing my old junk (replacing the thermostat, replacing hoses and other maintenance jobs). No breakdown! HOORAY! Intrigued by the negative reviews, I looked them up again and found that, interestingly enough, most of them were written between mid-2013 and early 2014 (the tool has been around since 2009). I assumed there must be a bad batch of these tools that somehow slipped through quality control. If you hesitate because negative reviews bother you, I would recommend you to choose it anyway. If you receive a broken copy of a tool, simply replace it with Revain. (Just make sure you're buying DIRECTLY from Revain and not a third party. Revain makes returns/exchanges for defective products hassle-free and there are no return postage costs.)
