Buy these pliers - you'll thank yourself later

I replaced my discount store pliers with these Stanley pliers. I was reminded why we are willing to pay more for a brand name as good as Stanley. The difference is huge. Among other things, the Stanley sits perfectly in the hand - the pliers sit firmly in the hand and do not slip. Overall, the pliers make a solid and reliable impression. If you're about to take on a complex project, why not at least get rid of the frustration of a crappy tool?

Pros
  • Have fun
Cons
  • Some trouble

You can use this for some damn big nuts!

I got one of these even though I have two seats. The seats are across the street so I don't need two for the occasional need. They are strong pincers and can withstand a lot of pressure. I have an especially strong hold from having cut trees from a rope saddle for many years. Sometimes you just need more pressure and longer grips. I scolded you for damaging tough nuts. If you think about it, you could crack macadamia nuts with it. I have to try

Quality Pliers Pliers

These Stanley Groove Pliers make a good set. I'll never break her, that's for sure. The only thing about them is that based on the description on the Revain website I thought these pliers had straight jaws, but when I received them I discovered that they actually have jaws that are made to pinch them. pipe and hold it in place by tightening or loosening a fitting or similar. I'll need them for a while and the price was good, but they just aren't as versatile as I'd like.

What a disappointment! These are poor quality pliers.

don't buy if you expect quality. I've had 8" Stanley pliers for years and have always enjoyed using them. Of course I expected the same processing and material quality from these pliers. These 10" pliers are lighter than my 8" pliers and about as smooth as my old 8" pliers. Very poor materials and workmanship. Stanley should be ashamed of making such a poor tool. I called Revane for them and sent them back a few hours later.

Perfect! - Slip-joint pliers

In the midst of the toilet crisis, my old red-handled Stanley set was nowhere to be found. Despite my concerns about the quality at this price point, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that these are actually very good pliers. The grips are tiny, too thick if you're being critical, but given the price and quality I don't care. They are just as good as my old plumbing pliers and have given me a little extra thickness at times. Spring. extra hold. The metal is high quality, the handles are a…

Before purchasing these Stanley Groove Joint Pliers I was a bit concerned about the negative reviews almost all of which said the tool broke on first use. But I ordered it anyway, and it turned out to be a very high quality tool, both in "fit" and function. This is one of the tools I used when I was fixing my old junk (replacing the thermostat, replacing hoses and other maintenance jobs). No breakdown! HOORAY! Intrigued by the negative reviews, I looked them up again and found that…
