Review on Stanley 84-024: Premium 10-Inch Bi-Material Groove Joint Pliers - Versatile and Durable by Leo Govindan

Perfect! - Slip-joint pliers

In the midst of the toilet crisis, my old red-handled Stanley set was nowhere to be found. Despite my concerns about the quality at this price point, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that these are actually very good pliers. The grips are tiny, too thick if you're being critical, but given the price and quality I don't care. They are just as good as my old plumbing pliers and have given me a little extra thickness at times. Spring. extra hold. The metal is high quality, the handles are a little springy but don't bend, which is a good thing. $8 and another $4 for next day shipping with Amazon Prime, I still spent less than I would have gone somewhere and bought them unless it's a place with a tool store where you get these awful can get cheap tools. I would highly recommend these pliers to anyone for their price and quality. The only downside I can think of is the banana yellow coloring, but permanent markers can't fix anything, just make sure it's really permanent so it doesn't bleed. I used a large red perm. marker and got a decent orange.
