Review on 🔒 Premium Self-Locking Post Mount Gate Latch - Automatic Gravity Lever Wood Fence Gate Latches with Fasteners/Black Finish Steel - Secure Pool Area by Richard Puckett

I had to replace a poorly constructed latch I bought at a convenience store - you know latches where you have to slam the gate to close it when it's closes at all. Then you have to drill a hole in the post and route the cable if you want to open the gate from the outside. This latch is strong and well designed. Installation was very easy even though I only had about 1/2" between the jamb and the gate. FYI you need at least 3/4" of clearance to install this latch - this wasn't made clear in the product description specified, but it's easy enough to fix if you have a plane or chisel.
