Works great on tie rods on a 2004 Mustang. The tool comes with no instructions, and the website directs you to a youtube video that doesn't explain how to use the tool, so you're a bit 'on your own' to figure it out. I loosened the middle screw to allow the tool to slide over the turnbuckle, then tightened it so that the top of the tool was mostly flat, and then adjusted the back screw so it just touched the top of the tool. Then I put the 22mm socket on a 1/2" ratchet and tightened it as much as possible. Then I replaced the ratchet with a breaker, added a spanner and put my foot on the tool. This was enough to separate the end of the pull rod, but the red plastic handle flew off (the metal part of the tool only fits about halfway into the red handle). Perhaps using a pneumatic tool on the nest would make the task easier? the notch where the tip of the tie rod goes in to prevent slipping and the part that goes under the steering knuckle and between it and the tie rod is flat so nothing prevents the tool from fully seating (unlike some "universal" tools for tie rods) The top bolt is 22mm, but the 7/8 head fits fine, just slightly larger than the 22mm head. Mustang but that was ok because it ran a regular ball joint pickle fork.
