Review on 🧄 NexTrend Generation 3 Clear Garlic Twister by Jennifer Jenkins

I gave this 5 stars because it grinds garlic well, easier than chopping it yourself with a knife, but I must also add a word of caution: if your Recipe calls for 1 minced garlic clove and you are using the Garlic Twist, you actually need to mince 2 garlic cloves instead of 1. This is because when you remove the chopped garlic from the chopper, some of it is left "sticking" to the chopper teeth. This way you don't get back all the garlic you put in; You won't have enough "1 clove of minced garlic" unless you add another clove to compensate for what's sticking to the chopper. You could stand there and pick each piece of this clove with a toothpick if you have the time, but personally I don't have much time. I love it. Update date 11/23/20: The more I use this, the more I like it! It makes adding fresh garlic to my meals a lot EASIER! I didn't really realize how much garlic I was wasting chopping until I got this device! I stand by my comment about not getting all the garlic "back" because some of the tiny bits are stuck to the plastic, but that's a no-brainer; I just add an extra clove of garlic and then I get what I need! Thing works Another update 1-2-21 I love this garlic chopper! However, there have been changes! I use this garlic chopper almost every day and put it in the dishwasher to wash. Last night while unloading I noticed that there was water in the chopper cover! It appears to be about 1 ounce of liquid and it wasn't at the top when I put it in the dishwasher so there was some sort of leak between the top and the cutting edge of the top. I've tried to "shake it out" but have had no luck so far. Now I just put it on the counter and hope the liquid just evaporates. Who else has this problem?
