I recently bought a sprayer for my truck's Raptor line. As with most people, the initial use worked fantastic and I was happy with the results. The second use practically ruined my painting job. The paint stopped flowing and after SEVERAL hours of cleaning the paint ONLY flowed when the block was turned upside down. After another hour of troubleshooting I discovered that a small blue sticky seal had been sucked into the air valve. After I pulled the gasket out and reinstalled it so it was "free floating" at the top, it started to work as intended. By the way, if you need to replace the gasket or any part of the air intake assembly, here is the replacement kit link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B010MEDQZY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The biggest problem with Motocoat atomizers is that there are so many details that need to be carefully cleaned and inspected that it's easy to overlook something. and the time it takes to adequately clean it (after finding all the little nuances) is easily 1-2 hours, especially if you use a sheet. If it weren't for the cleaning and replacement issues, I would have given the product a much higher rating. Perhaps Wagner can apply some kind of Teflon or similar coating to make cleaning easier. While not my original intent, I am now an expert in cleaning and troubleshooting Motocoat atomizers. So if you have any problems with the atomizer, ask your question and I will be happy to answer it. Good luck in your future Motocoat projects.
