Review on πŸ“· Street Notes: An SEO-Optimized Workbook and Assignments Journal for Street Photographers by Eric Kim by April Irvin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good minimalist workbook with short street photography assignments

The first paragraph of Revain's description reads "Photography Guide and Magazine". This is not a travel guide like you would expect when paying $20 for a photo book. That encourages you to use it as a journal, but due to its compact size, it doesn't offer enough space to write down your detailed thoughts. For those unfamiliar with Eric Kim it would be helpful if the description states that this is a workbook intended for those who wish to improve their street photography skills by completing a series of short tasks that each to be completed within a few hours or a day . I really like how well this book doesn't waste a lot of words to get its message across. Its form factor really encourages you to always have this book and the separate notebook/diary with you when you are out with your camera, including your smartphone. It may seem like a high price of $20, but considering I can understand the prices for short runs. As another reviewer mentioned, Eric Kim has a very good blog site where he gives a lot of information. Definitely worth reading. It would definitely be helpful to read the page along with this book; However, the tasks in this journal do not require you to read the website. Interestingly, this book does not list the URL of its website.
